possible use of explorer details pain in Vista/Win7?

Would it be possible to take advantage of the details pane that runs
across the bottom of explorer to display Subversion details (revision,
recent log messages, etc?) I'd love to just select a controlled file
and see some SVN details at the bottom.

Thoughts?
