TSVNCache.exe slows Windows XP to a halt

Hi all

I have seeing a problem with the newest build for weeks - TortoiseSVN 1.6.3,
Build 16613. I am running Windows XP SP3 and have almost 100 megs of code
in my trunk.

My problem is when I do anything (or nothing) TSVNCache.exe goes to around
50% and accesses the hard drive non stop. I would be fine if this happened
once in awhile, but as a test I have let it go over the weekend, for a few
hours during the day, over lunch etc. I can come back and the hard drive is
always on solid and my machine is slow as dirt.

If I restart my machine and login it goes back to killing my hard drive and
CPU. I have uninstalled and reinstalled Tortoise and nothing changed.

The only way I can get this to stop for awhile is if I kill the process or
uninstall Tortoise (I did this but only for a few hours as I need it). If I
kill the process my computer is fine, but once I do anything Tortoise
related it starts back up and then I have to kill it again.

I have a 3.0 GHz Core 2 Duo - I noticed a similar thread with a Quad Core PC
but that problem was only for a little while, I assume while updating. This
is non-stop HD access I am assuming is an infinite loop. Any other info
please just ask - sorry I don't have more steps to reproduce. The weird
thing is no other developers at my work have this problem so I would assume
it may be hard to reproduce. I am more than willing to help with logs and
such. Please help!

Thanks,

Mario
