High explorer.exe CPU usage when opening folders

Upgraded from 1.6.2.16344 to 1.6.3.16613 this morning. After reboot, experienced substantial lag when opening any folder in Windows Explorer. Not as noticeable on local drive, but any network folder with more than a few items took many seconds to load. CPU usage immediately jumped to 45-50% until folder completely displayed. Checked the FAQ and found "Browsing very slow in explorer and file/open dialog.". Did have one mapped drive that required a different username - deleted and rebooted, but problem remained.

Reverted to 1.6.2.16344 and problem stopped. OS = Windows XP Pro SP3. Have had no problems with prior versions. Any information would be appreciated, thanks.
