Why is reverting so slow ?

Hi!

I am using v 1.6.2 and noticed that reverting a file is very slow.

For example, I change a 300 kB Word doc file (small change, one line).

I open the CFM dialog.

I right click the doc file and select Revert... and confirn the Are you sure question.

Then it takes 10 or more seconds, during which the CFM dialog is non responsive
and the hard drive light is constantly on.

Why is that ?
Isn't reverting just copying the file from .svn folder to the working folder ?

(it does not always take so long, but pretty often)

Regards,
David
