Did you try this? I certainly can't right-click add files that are ignored
in the "check for modifications" dialog. I can for files that are
non-versioned, but not for files or directories that are ignored. That seems
to be inhibited for them. Interestingly, though files inside of ignored
folders do not have the add option inhibited. And only the add action seems
to be inhibited. Other actions, which make no sense for files that aren't
under revision control are enabled. In fact, the actions available for
ignored files looks like the same as for versioned files, not the same as
un-versioned files, as I would expect. Maybe this is actually a bug...
