I'm not sure what this has to do with TSVN?

Explorer works the way it works. When you change the sort order in one folder, it doesn't change the sort order in all the other folder if you have the "Remember each folder's view settings" options turned on.

What you can do is set your folder the way you want to see all your folders in regard to view settings (detail/tiles/etc) and the sort. Then go into Folder Options -> View, and press the "Apply to All folders". Then make sure the setting "Remember each folder's view settings" is disabled. This way... all folders will be the way you set them...

However, if you change the sort in an Explorer session in one folder, as you move to other folders that sort remains for the session. But, if you restart explorer it will be put back to the saved sort. At least that is what I see when in XP.

Personally, I like the "remember option off"... but I can see it being useful. Perhaps there are some folders you want sorted by name, and others by date... still some you want to see details but others tiles.
