Re: Version 1.6: Sparse Check-out & Check for Modifications

Hi Stefan,
That's great. Thank you.

Perhaps you can help me with a related query:

It was my understanding that check-outs, even sparse check-outs, could only
be carried out at the folder level (i.e. individual files cannot be
checked-out).

However, with TortoiseSVN, as long as a folder has been checked-out, but not
populated, using a sparse check-out, it is possible to "update"/"update to
revision" individual files using either the Repro Browser or Check for
Modifications. This is effectively a way to check-out parts of the
repository at the file-level.

Is there any potential problem with doing this that I am unaware of? Is
there, for example, any problem with checking-out (well, really, updating)
each file in a directory one at a time, or as needed?

Many thanks again,
eocarragain
