ask twice password?

We use windows authentication with AD,if someone didn't save
password,he needs to type password twice.not everyone knows
that.sometimes the login window pops twice let they think they type
wrong password then change password to try.AD only allow 3 errors in
try.we often locked accout using Tortoisesvn..is there any
configuration can change this problem?thanks
