Large File download hangs? fails?

I've got a 450MB file happily living in a remote repoistory. I can
svn co it from the command line, just fine, however, browsing to the
file in the repo browser, and then dragging it to the desktop creates
the standard "copy file" dialog, but the progress bar is never
updated, and the entire thing just seems to sit there forever.

Again, the command line utility works well.
