diff changed file on network drive

Hello,

the following issues are network drive only and may be related.
1. When I try to svn commit a file (not a folder), I get a message in the commit dialog under "Changes made": "Can't open file 'Z:\folder\file.ext\.svn\entries'"
(wrong path, should be without the file name: 'Z:\folder\.svn\entries').
2. In the commit dialog (after commit on a folder) double clicking a file in "Changes made" part does not diff either. (Neither does selecting the "compare with base" option explicitly after right click.)
3. The "diff" option does not show up in context menu for altered files.

By the way, a diff from the log messages dialog does work ("compare with working copy" option after right click).

The issues also occur after a fresh checkout. As said, no problems on a local drive -- also not after a flat file copy from the network drive to a local drive. The TortoiseSVN version used is version 1.6.2 build 16344, but the problems were first encountered after updating 1.5 to 1.6.1. I installed 1.6.2 after uninstalling 1.6.1 first.
