Sehra,
In the SVN commit configuration there are options to launch a perl script. My last sys admin set this up for me.
I want to do it too in our new install, but not having perl skills I'm of little help.
Here is what I remember:
There is a perl template for the email, but its more of a unix flavor than a windows flavor - it will need the mailserver ip config data, and password;
There is a text file of the folks that you want the commit to be routed to, and this is fixed;
What I would like, is to make the mailing list under my control when I do the commit. I don't necessarily want to broadcast my commit to the whole team every time. I will be on a project for a while and just send my commit notices to that group, so I want to be able to change the list.
I'm open to suggestions or experiences from folks who have done this.
Thanks,
Randy
