Move files result in file already exists errors on commits

Hi,

I used the right-click to "move" files just up one directory level,
but now a number of directories (the ones in the new location) cannot
be commited because it says "file already exists"

The SVN repository does not, in fact, have that file.

Help, how can I get the moves properly committed?
