Svn not able to open file due to wrong syntax.

Hi,
I am running 1.6.1 on XP that is running in vmware fusion (vmware on mac).

I have a shared FAT32 partition which i then use as DATA drive between XP and mac OS X. This is where my svn folders are located and everything has worked fine for a long time untill recently.

1: My problem is that suddenly when commiting, switching or reverting version it refuses to perform anything since "The syntax in the filename, folder or disk is wrong".

2: Furthermore my svn "tab" from the WinXp context menu has disappeared.

I have tried formatting my partition and starting (checking out again) over but the same thing happens. If I however copy my svn folders to the vmware home partition, then everything works fine, so it has got something do do with my shared FAT32 partition.

The error message is partially in danish, but the english translation is "The syntax in the filename, folder or disk is wrong." Please see attached picture.
