That helped substantially! What about doing it in its own thread, so that it doesn't block?

Another thing, upon "repair move" the sorting is forgotten, and that seems to have the same major issues with speed. I'm not sure what it does, but 3-4 seconds to sort a list of 1000 items is extreme.
