When you show the log for those files where blame doesn't work, does the
log dialog show a log?

I've analyzed the files you sent me, and they're ok. Even with the empty
(0 bytes) file TBlame showed the blame (but of course without the log
tooltips).

So there must be something else going wrong, but I'm a little bit out of
ideas what else could be wrong.
