Create the registry value HKCU\Software\TortoiseSVN\CacheTrayIcon as a
DWORD value, and set that value to something other than 0. Then kill the
When the process starts again, a doubleclick on the tray icon will show
a small window (sorry, not resizable/movable) showin the paths that the
cache is currently crawling.
Also, if you hover your mouse over the tray icon, the tooltip shows how
many paths are currently watched.
When the hang occurs again, please check the number of watched paths and
maybe you can see which paths the cache has problems with in the debug
