Maybe you'll want to look at a hosted version control solution. There
are numerous organisations that provide such services (free and
commercial).

For example, origo (http://www.origo.ethz.ch/) is such a platform,
where you can host your project for free. Besides a SVN repository, it
also offers additional services like wiki, forum, etc.
