Open With, browse doesn't

This has been an issue with 1.5.x as well.
From the Log Messages window, select a revision. Point to the path/filename in the lower listbox, right-click and choose "Open With..." You receive a list of applications. Click the Browse button and choose a different application (Edit+ isn't in my default list, for example). That application isn't added to the program list nor is it used to open the file.
