Patch w/ file moves, adds, and/or deletions

Hi,
 
I am using TortoiseSVN 1.6.0 against a 1.4.x server.
 
Does patch creation and application support added files, moved files,
and/or deleted files? I have a change that I created a patch for with
all of the above types of changes and I am not able to get it to apply
properly against another up to date working set.
