question about permissions

Hi,

I have a simple question regarding the permission system of SVN.

Suppose that I want to manage the configuration of several projects in
one single tree (repo). Each project will have different members,
meaning that users will only have access to some branches of the tree.

I know this is possible to perform in CVS, but I'm not sure if SVN
also supports this use case.

I'm trying to avoid the creation of a repo for each project. My life
would be a lot easier if all projects could be located in one single
repo.

Thanks,
  Tiago Franco
