What I generally do is send an email to all the svn users to upgrade to
the new client... Then I will upgrade my server about a week later.
While previous version clients will work with newer servers I like to be
sure every one is on the same client version as server version. I
haven't been as heavy handed as requiring a certain client version, but
I may do this when we upgrade to 1.6.
