Thanks Simon for the suggestion
Here is what I did:
- installed a svn client 1.5.4 (from collabnet)
- did a "svn move" on a 10mb file: after a couple of seconds the
command line returns but explorer become unresponsive for 10min (heavy
hard disk activity)
- uninstall Tortoise
- did a "svn move" on a 8mb file: Explorer is fine disk activty seems
ok.
I'm going to do all my renames without tortoise installed and re-
instll it later on.
