Who is asking for doing that compeletely automatic? No, it must always
be checked positively by the user in the commit dialog.

Sure, renaming is always deliberately.

If you follow the given way, I don't see a chance for a failure. Where
do you see it?

1. The user want in the standard case that the renaming of a folder
doesn't delete the folder in the SVN repository after commiting its
parent folder
2. As stated above, it is as automatic as commiting a file change
3. The nesting is typically a special case, not the standard case
Yes, there may be some users argumenting differently, but the
TortoiseSVN is typically a directory oriented, windows explorer
oriented tool and that's why it should follow a little bit more the
common logic of windows folders and files. This doesn't mean that
nesting will get unsupported, it just means that nesting should be a
special command in the tortoise context menu instead of the more
typical rename command for a folder.
I don't know if I was able to show the reasons, arguments and
advantages to you, making Tortoise SVN more than just a tool for hard-
code-programmers, but also for non-programming/non-technician team
members.
Regards
Jochen
