Hello everyone.
I am using Windows Vista Ultimate 64 Bit on an AMD Dual Core machine and
I have the problem that tortoiseproc.exe crashes when it is invoked to
It comes as far as showing its window with all log entries, etc. I can
I have read...
http://tortoisesvn.tigris.org/faq.html#logcrash
http://tortoisesvn.net/node/333
...and they do not seem to apply, because I have disabled the log caching and removed...
C:\Users\MyUser\AppData\Roaming\TortoiseSVN
...to get rid of the log cache, should it be bogus.
TortoiseSVN doesn't show any entries in "Cached Repositories", either.
I also tried against the TortoiseSVN repository (using http://tortoisesvn.tigris.org/svn/tortoisesvn/trunk), but the same problem occurs.
Also, I tested the latest released 32 bit build against our SVN repository, and the problem does not occur. This might indicate that it is not related to the SVN functionality.
Has anyone else had this problem? I googled around but couldn't find any current reports of crashes, esp. ones not related to log entry caching.
Is there another debug log functionality (I tried DebugView, but it only shows one message "Exception") that I can enable to help developers track this issue down?
I also have MS VS 2008 on this box, but I am a beginner with C++ and Windows development, should it be helpful for kicking in the debugger or something like that.
With best regards
Clemens Anhuth
