Merge - Reintegrate branch

Hi everybody,
I'm doing some tests on a simple project just to understand if we can pass to Tortoise (from old CVS ;-)))) ).
I made trunk version and a branch, then I modified a branch file and now I want to reintegrate this modification to the trunk.

So Merge command -> Reintegrate branch
Here I have to select the tree for merge, when I press the browse button to fill "From URL" edit box --> a Browse for folder dialog is shown....
I select my folder and then i test merge --> I got an error.
I think that browse should be done on server URL, so I tried typing the server url with my branch path --> all is ok.

My question:
is it a bug that Browse For Folder dialog is shown or I made some errors in the merge work flow ?
