Unexpected System Crash : limitation of Filesize (because of memory) ?

Simple summary of my system is
Client : TortoiseSVN 1.5.7 on Windows XP. 2GB RAM
Server : SubVersion 1.4.6 on Windows XP. 4GB RAM.
# of Project : 4 projects.

Two days ago, my colleague upload a bunch of files into project
repository.
Some of them has more than 50 MB filesize..
Uploading was success without any problem..
The extreme case is more than 200 MB zipped one. (let's call it
LargeFile.zip)

However, during Checking-out / Updating project source tree from SVN
with TortoiseSVN,
as soon as I tried to check-out/update "LargeFile.zip", my system
suddenly crashed (Windows Blue screen) and rebooted.

Is there any limitation of filesize for safe checking-out ?
