how would that be possible? How could TSVN use the regex without you
specifying *what* regex to use??

The bugtraq:message uses a specific format: it appends (or prepends) the
log message with a text that has the specified format.

Just manually typing in a string which matches your regex won't work, as
long as you don't actually specify the regex.
