This happens to me, too. :-(

I have Tortoise 1.5.6 under Win XP SP2 German. My working copy is on a Samba share, which I mount via UNC path. When I say OK in the commit dialog the earlier mentioned error box from MS Visual C++ Runtime appears. After that the MS Windows error reporting tool is shown, where I say "Don't send". It's repeatable ...

Please open a ticker at your new issue tracker, since we are at least 3 poeple now with the same problem ...
