Runtime error during merge with TSVN 1.5.6

Since we upgraded to Tortoise SVN 1.5.6, the merge crashes with a
runtime error.

Program: C:\Program Files\TortoiseSVN\bin\TortoiseProc.exe

This application has requested the Runtime to terminate it in an
unusual way.
Please contact the application's support team for more information.

After this unsuccessful merge, the working copy is corrupted and must
be cleaned.
