Tortoise with a Linux server

Hello,

I have a subversion server installed in my linux machine.

I am trying to use the Tortoise cliente from my computer with Windows. I can connect to the repository, download and upload documents to the repository but when I try to checkout from the server or modify a document (and commit it to the server) the connection "Network connection closed unexpectedly".
