Creating relative links to manage document duplication

Hi,

A client has asked my team if it is possible to make links within a [checked-out] repository to documents elsewhere in the repo. Their team has some duplication and were looking for resolutions.

Our first response was "reorganise the repository", but it was an interesting question and I wanted to pass it on to the community.

There's nothing in the manual, and googling yielded nothing of use that I could see, but I'm not confident of the correct terminology so that could be my fault.

All in all, I suspect it's not possible.
