Edit Log Message does not update the message column in the Log dialog

Hi all,

Our little development team found a bug in the Edit Log Message or
respectively the log cache.

Our version: TortoiseSVN 1.5.6, Build 14908 - 32 Bit , 2008/12/20
11:51:04

OS: WIN Vista / XP (32 Bit)

What we did:

1) Created a revision with log message "Some log message"

2) Opened the Log Messages with SVN Show log.

3) Changed the message with "Edit log message" Dialog, to "Some log
message - Reviewed". Quit with OK.

4) The Log Message dialog showed the changed message after pressing F5
for update.

5) Closed the Log Message dialog.

5) Re opened the Log Message dialog: The old message "Some log message"
was shown in the dialog column "Message". F5 didn't change this.

6) Opening the "Edit log message" Dialog showed the changed message
"Some log message - Reviewed"

7) Closing editor and F5: new content in column "Message".

As far as I have seen in the newsgroup the issue was reported already
some time ago, but I didn't find if there was already a solution to it.

For the previous entries look up:
