Paul seems to have lost interest in this topic, but I have the exact same problem. And I do see "Pin to start menu" in the extended context menu. And to answer Simon Large's question, I have version 1.5.6. And like Paul, I'd like to know if this feature can accessed some way other than the extended context menu.
