Does Win7 have the same stupid restriction on what you can put in to the
headers in detail view as Vista does?

If this is going to be the way of things going "forward" with Windows,
you may wish to explore alternative ways to have at-a-glance revision
info in detail view, because trying to deduce it by hitting a gazillion
files for "Properties" dialogs just to get a most-recent-rev number is
not acceptable, and that's currently speaking more toward Windows than
TortoiseSVN...
