Bug Report: Icon Overlays nearly freeze windows vista explorer

with the latest version of tortoisesvn and latest windows vista (sp1
x86) i experienced the following problem:

copying files into a versioned folder slows down file operation to
nearly zero:

i have a local working copy with some hundred versioned files. tried
to copy approx. 100 files directly into the working copy folders.
vista copy progress says: will last for 5 h, transfer rate 0 bytes/
sec, no progress.

when i disable icon overlay in tortoise svn settings everything works
fine.
