Unexpected End of Entry

I'm killing myself trying to figure this out. I'm using TortoiseSVN
and I checkout some code from a repository. I make a few changes then
go to commit them and Tortoise tells me that there's been an
unexpected end of entry and that I should try a cleanup and if that
doesn't work, I have to checkout a new copy. Only problem is that it
happens consistently every time I checkout a repository.

Any ideas what might be going on?
