Interesting...
I guess I actually didn't properly downgrade to 1.5.4. I just downloaded it and installed it - but it appears that 1.5.5 is still installed. That's the version that "about" reports.
I'm going to try fully uninstalling and reinstalling 1.5.5 - I'll get back with the results.
