Cannot find source for checkout crashes

Hi,

I'm using WinXP SP3 with TortoiseSVN 1.5.5, Build 14361.

I attempted to checkout
https://sc2.svn.sourceforge.net/svnroot/sc2/trunk/sc2/doc/users into
C:\sc2\sc2\doc\users (an empty folder) via the popup menu in the
repo-browser. This folder in the repository contains only 2 small files
(~30kb in total); TortoiseProc.exe reported that both filed have been
"added", but crashed immediately afterwards.

The ".svn" folder has been created, but neither file was copied into the
working directory.

I tried all 4 checkout depths (deleting ".svn" each time), with the same
results. ("Only this item" didn't crash, but then again it only copied the
folder without the files)

TortoiseProc.exe "crashed properly" and gave me the option to email a crash
report when I tried a fully-recursive checkout; for the remaining options,
Windows reported the crash and mentioned msvcr90.dll.

I've attached dumps from both reports.

I managed to successfuly checkout other folders:
https://sc2.svn.sourceforge.net/svnroot/sc2/trunk/sc2/src/sc2code/comm
https://sc2.svn.sourceforge.net/svnroot/sc2/trunk/sc2/src/sc2code/ships

but TSVN would crash at other folders. I noticed that with repeated attempts
to checkout the same folder, the crash would always occur when transferring
the same file. It also crashes if I try to Export.

Could you please tell me whether it's a bug from TSVN or from my computer?
