Partial Merge

Is it possible to selectively select a directory to merge from the
trunk into a branch? The directory might have been updated from a
larger commit, but these other changes are not required.

Example, I just want the latest updates from the software directory,
but not the firmware?

trunk/software
trunk/firmware
