No extended context menu/delete (keep local)

Like many people, I was not aware of the "Extended Context Menu" in Windows, so maybe I'm doing it wrong, but, with Win XP2, I hold down a shift key (tried both left & right keys), right click on a folder (tried both left or right pane), move the cursor down to the TortoiseSVN sub-menu (tried both continuing holding down shift key, and releasing it). And I get the same menu as the regular context menu; meaning no "delete (keep local)" option. So I don't know if this means I'm doing it wrong, or if there is a problem with my XP/Explorer, or if there's a problem w. Tortoise. To simplify, I would really suggest not bothering with the extended context menu and just move the few functions that are there into the regular menu. They could be useful to many users who don't even know they exist now. I also wonder if there is any other way to access that functionality without relying on the extended context menu? Anyway, thanks for a great tool. Paul -- Paul Kirkaas pkirkaas@gmail.comReceived on 2008-12-08 09:59:01 CET |
