Commit failed - File already exists

Hi,

I'm a newbie TortoiseSVN user. I added a folder to the repository
using (I think) the 'import in place' option.

I noticed that many (most) of my source code files were marked with
the 'unversioned' icon overlay, so I did a '-->Add' at the folder
level, and this added the files to the repository and marked their
icons with the "+" (Added) overlay - so far, so good.

However, when I try to 'Commit' the folder (or individual files), I
get a 'Commit failed' error with detail "File already exists:
filesystem 'C:/[path to repository]/SVNRepository/db', transaction '16-
m', path /BscWorkbench/trunk/EMWorkbench/AxesGrp.cs'

Any clue what I'm doing wrong here?

TIA,

Frank
