Compare with w/c broken in trunk

Hi there

Bug report against the nightly builds from trunk:
Operations that compare the w/c file against a repository location are
currently reporting the error:
"The filename, directory name or volume label syntax is incorrect"

eg context_menu->diff with previous version
or log dialog->compare with working copy

Just tried the latest nightly. Also did it with one from about 5 days ago.

Seems to be 100% consistent, no special circumstatances required to
reproduce.
