Multiple users accessing via file:/// is not recommended. That access
method is meant for single-user, local/testing use only. If you have
more than one person using a repository, set up a real server!
Otherwise your repository integrity is at risk.

This also means you may have to do a dump/load cycle to revert back to
1.4 on the clients.
