Win XP: TortoiseSVN not showing up for 2nd user

Hello,
I hope this is the right list for this kind of question. If it isn't,
please let me know. Thank you.

I have a Windows XP SP3 Professional running on my laptop with two user
profiles, one for my work at a company, another for freelance work.
The Windows XP is a Tablet PC Edition but that shouldn't matter, the
differences are minimal and not deep.

I installed TortoiseSVN on the work profile.
It shows up fine there, with Explorer menus and everything, but not on
the second profile. The only thing I can see in the second profile is
the TortoiseSVN start menu entry with the link that tells me to use the
Explorer menus.

I re-installed TortoiseSVN on the second profile, same result.
Following advice from a Forum I found, I un-installed TortoiseSVN,
removed all corresponding entries from the Registry and re-installed it.
Unfortunately, still the same result.
I activated overlay Icons in the 2nd profile for all kinds of drives (I
can access the settings program).
I am using the latest build.
Both user profiles have Administrator rights.

Does anybody have an idea what to do?
Thanks in advance.
Pekka
