I checked the c:\program files and the c:\program files\common files
for anything to do with tortoise. Nothing shows up. This is the only
program that I have ever installed that adds these sort of overlays to
icons, so I can't see how it could be anything else that had caused
this.
Ah well... maybe I should revert to a back up or try a reload of the
OS. If anyone else has experienced this sort of behavior, any
assistance would be greatly appreciated.
