Ah :) No, it's the standard install with just US and GB English.

Uninstalled, rebooted, reinstalled, rebooted ... it still crashes.
However, I have a bit more information -- I think. Since deleting HKCU
\Software\TortoiseMerge loses TortoiseMerge's display settings, I had
to go back in and set the font and size to my preference. I observed
that if I set the font size to 6 (so that I can see the whole width of
my files), the crash comes easily. It happens even with the standard
Courier New font at size 6. My display is 1280x800 (not 1280x1024,
it's a laptop), if that makes any difference.

Any other ideas?
