RE: Initial import revision

Russ,

SVN may not be like other versioning systems you are used to. SVN uses a
global revision number for the whole repository and not for any particular
file or project. So when you commit updates to project A at version 5, B at
version 6, and C at version 7, if you next update project A, it will be at
version 8.

As you can see, because of this behavior, you really will not gain anything
by blowing it all way and starting over just to get your initial version
number where you think is should be because; a) the next project you commit
will not be at version 1, and b) the next update to the first project will
probably not be at version 2.

Regards,

Tom
