Problem with historical diff's of deleted files persists at rev 1.5.3

Testing on TortoiseSVN 1.5.3, Build 13783 - 32 Bit , 2008/08/30 20:59:46

Steps to reproduce.

Commit a new file to the repository at rev N

Make a change to the file and commit it at rev N+1

Delete the file using TortoiseSVN and commit the deletion at rev N+2

Show log on your repository. Highlight rev N and N+1, right click and
select "compare revisions"

Double click the file you modified.

EXPECTED BEHAVIOR: Tortoise Merge shows the difference in the file
beween those two revisions.

OBSERVED BEHAVIOR: Tortoise reports File not found: revision N+2, path
'/directory_name/file_in_question.txt'
