Log performance issue

I had seen steveking's article at http://tortoisesvn.net/node/333
about Log cache,I had fetching the log for slow or very big
repositories problems,since my repositories became bigger,and I can't
retrieve log anymore if I use windows authorization.I tried many ways
to show log.shut down my anti-virus software, use log cache...etc.But
still can't retrieve all logs.when I use log cache..it is possible if
I try many times.

The log cache can be exported, but can't import. Is there any one can
help how to share my log cache to others.then they don't need to cache
again.
Use windows authorization and http protocol make subversion become
very slow. But I had no idea if I use another protocol had windows
authorization too.

Windows events also log events when tortoiesesvn
checkout,update.that's a problem slow down the performance I think.If
I checkout about 30,000 files,It also log 30,000 times in windows
event log and check security over than 30,000 times.Maybe I use
VisualSVN server cause this problem. But only VisualSVN server can use
AD and windows groups till now.
