We only make a release when we think it's stable - otherwise we wouldn't
release it. But there will always be bugs which we haven't found before
a release, there are just too many different setups out there which we
simply can't test all.

The only way you can avoid big surprises is to monitor the mailing list
and our changelog after a release to see whether there were bugs which
might affect you already fixed or reported by others.
